This fall semester at Jezebel, Sunday Boïs Club and HOTSPOT The Show bring you a series of workshops focused on creating space, skills, and stage time for transmasc*, masculine-of-center & questioning bodies to explore masc-coded movement and erotic energy on stage.
Over the course of two months (October & November), each Sunday we’ll host different teachers bringing different skill sets, varying from embodiment and masc-coded gesture to floorwork, lap dance, balance and circus tricks, and urban dance moves.
The workshops are open to all levels: whether you’ve never performed before, already have a stage practice, or are just curious and want to explore new skills, you’re welcome.
* This is part of our mission to reclaim space for transmasc people: these workshops are not open to AMAB people (cis or gender non-conforming) and cis masc women. Identification under the “trans” umbrella is non-negotiable (at the free interpretation of the individual).

Chair dance hottie - solo tricks
Sitting? On a chair? Groundbreaking.
Divided in two 2h blocs, this class aims at giving attendees a vocabulary of acrobatic tricks and cool moves on and with a chair solo, together, combining with a pole and ready to spice up that lap dance.
No basic sitting allowed! Whether you want to rock a stage, impress that hottie, or both, this workshop got you covered. All moves in the program will be available in varying levels of difficulty and adaptation options for different bodies.
Majo is an acrobat, performer, educator and all-around gender-genre bender, with extensive experience across performing arts, nightlife, movement and artistic teaching.
Co-founder of s’ club MeufX, Bum&Boum, currently leading their own project Big boy circus, alongside regular pole teaching and freelance performing.
